Privacy Policy

1. Information We Collect

PetPharmacy Hub collects only the information necessary to operate and improve our directory service. When you use the search or filter tools on our site, we may log anonymised query data — such as the state or service type you searched for — in order to understand which features are most useful and where listings need to be expanded. We do not link this information to any personally identifiable record, and we do not require you to create an account to browse the directory.

If you contact us through the contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message body you provide. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry. We do not add you to any marketing list on the basis of a contact-form submission, and we do not share your contact details with third parties without your explicit consent. Form submissions are retained for up to twelve months and then permanently deleted.

2. How We Use Your Information

Any information we collect is used exclusively for the purposes described at the point of collection. Anonymised search and filter data helps us prioritise which states and service types to add to the directory first. Contact-form submissions are read by our small editorial team and used to answer your question, correct a listing, or action a pharmacy suggestion. We do not sell, rent, or broker any personal information to advertisers, data brokers, or any other third party — this site carries no advertising, and our revenue does not depend on monetising user data.

We may use aggregate, non-identifiable analytics data — such as page view counts, session duration, and popular filter combinations — to improve the site's layout, content, and performance. This data is collected through privacy-respecting analytics tools and is never tied back to individual users. You may opt out of analytics data collection at any time by enabling the Do Not Track signal in your browser or by using a browser-level ad blocker.

3. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

PetPharmacy Hub uses a minimal number of cookies required for the site to function correctly, such as remembering your selected language preference across page loads. We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site tracking pixels, or fingerprinting technologies. The interactive map section loads Leaflet and OpenStreetMap assets from their respective CDNs; those services have their own privacy policies governing the data they may collect during tile requests, and we encourage you to review them independently.

You can configure your browser to refuse all or specific cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. Please be aware that disabling cookies may affect certain features of this site, including the language preference switcher. Our own first-party cookies contain no personally identifiable information and expire at the end of your browser session unless a longer persistence is required for a specific feature such as language selection.

4. Data Security and Retention

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect any personal information you share with us against accidental loss, unauthorised access, alteration, or disclosure. Our site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections, and access to any stored contact data is restricted to authorised members of the team. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we continually review and update our practices in line with current best standards.

5. Your Rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you. You may also have the right to object to or restrict certain types of processing, or to request that we provide your data in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@petpharmacyhub.com. We will respond within thirty days of receiving a verifiable request. If you believe we have not addressed your concern adequately, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data-protection authority in your jurisdiction.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of PetPharmacy Hub after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically so you remain informed about how we protect your information.
